Use 3 Series Victor style cutting torch tip #000 to cut up to 1/8" Steel with oxygen pressure of 25 pounds and acetylene pressure of 4 pounds with a speed of 25 inches per minute producing a .04" thick kerf width.
Use 3 Series Victor Style cutting torch tip #00 to cut up to 1/4" Steel with oxygen pressure of 25 pounds and acetylene pressure of 4 pounds with a speed of 28 inches per minute producing a .05" thick kerf width.
Use 3 Series Victor Style cutting torch tip #0 to cut up to 1/2" Steel with oxygen pressure of 30 pounds and acetylene pressure of 4 pounds with a speed of 22 inches per minute producing a .06" thick kerf width.
Use 3 Series Victor Style cutting torch tip #1 to cut up to 3/4" Steel with oxygen pressure of 38 pounds and acetylene pressure of 5 pounds with a speed of 20 inches per minute producing a .07" thick kerf width.
Use 3 Series Victor Style cutting torch tip #2 to cut up to 1" Steel with oxygen pressure of 37 pounds and acetylene pressure of 6 pounds with a speed of 17 inches per minute producing a .09" thick kerf width.
Use 3 Series Victor Style cutting torch tip #3 to cut up to 2" Steel with oxygen pressure of 42 pounds and acetylene pressure of 8 pounds with a speed of 13 inches per minute producing a .11" thick kerf width.
Use 3 Series Victor Style cutting torch tip #4 to cut up to 3" Steel with oxygen pressure of 45 pounds and acetylene pressure of 8 pounds with a speed of 10 inches per minute producing a .12" thick kerf width.
Follow manufacturers recommended safety specifications whenever using cutting torches and flammable gases.
At no time should the withdrawal rate of an individual cylinder of acetylene exceed 1/7th of the contents per hour. If additional flow is required use and acetylene manifold system of sufficient size to supply the necessary volume.
